lodged directly in person at the Australian High Commission in Kuala Lumpur:
As CBD, RRV and ADV applicants do not need to provide their biometrics, these applications can be submitted to the AVAC in person or by post/courier.

Applicants who live in Johor Bahru and work in Singapore, if you are living in Malaysia and want to apply for one of the below types of visas you must submit your application in person to the Australia Visa Application Centre (AVAC), where your biometrics (fingerprints and facial photograph) will be collected:
- Visitor Visa
- Student Visa
- Temporary Work (Short/Long Stay) Visa
- Transit Visa
- Permanent Entry Visa
- Medical Treatment Visa
- Work and Holiday Visa
- Temporary Residence
- Visa Evidencing Request
The AVAC is located at Suite 19.06,19th Floor, Wisma MCA, 163 Jalan Ampang, 50450 Kuala Lumpur.
Important: As part of the visa application procedure, you will
need to provide electronic fingerprint data along with a digital photograph. If
you have temporary injuries on your fingers, please wait until the injuries have
healed before you book your appointment. Henna on fingertips may also mean we are
unable to get a clear scanned image and should be removed or allowed to fade before
your appointment date.
