An appointment is not mandatory for general visa types other than work and holiday visa. However, we recommend that you book an appointment to attend the visa application centre as it can get busy at peak times.

If you are part of a family or group, each member of the family or group must make an individual appointment. For example, if you are a family of 4 with 2 adults and 2 children, you must make 4 individual appointments.

For groups more than 10 applications:
Before 1200 hours: Representatives can walk-in to the AVAC in Shanghai or Beijing or Guangzhou anytime between 0730 and 1200
hours for the submissions.
After 1200 hours: A prior appointment needs to be made at AVAC. Please use the contacts details below to book an
appointment for the submissions.
